6th International Conference on Contemporary Problems of Architecture and Construction

The conference will be held at the VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava from June 24 to 27, 2014. We would like to introduce you a history of the conference. In 2008 and 2010 Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction organized the 1st and 2nd International Conference entitled "Architecture and Construction - Actual Problems". The conference was held in Jermuk, Armenia. The 3rd year was organized in collaboration with the Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Construction from October 20 to 24, 2011, and was entitled International Conference on Contemporary Problems in Architecture and Construction. This title is used up to the present day. The 4th conference was held in Czestochowa city (Poland) from September 24 to 27, 2012, as a joint effort of the Yerevan State University of Architecture, the Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Construction and the Czestochowa University of Technology. The 5th conference was organized by the Saint Petersburg University of Architecture and Construction from June 25 to 28, 2013, as a joint effort of the Yerevan State University of Architecture, the Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Construction, the Czestochowa University of Technology and Saint Petersburg University of Architecture and Construction. This year edition of the conference is organized by the VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava from June 24 to 27, 2014, jointly with the Yerevan State University of Architecture, the Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Construction, the Czestochowa University of Technology and Saint Petersburg University of Architecture and Construction. Conference is organized on behalf of His Magnificence prof. Ivo Vondrák, MSc., CSc., rector of the VŠB - Technical University of Ostrava and under the honorary patronage of rector of the Yerevan State University of Architecture and Construction prof. dr hab. inż. Hovhannes Tokmajyan, rector of the Czestochowa University of Technology prof. dr hab. Maria Nowicka-Skowron, rector of the Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering prof. dr hab. inz. Evgeny I. Rybnov and rector of the Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture prof. dr hab. inz. Zhu Guang. Accepted papers will be published in the Conference Proceedings. The scientific committee will select papers that will appear in the SCOPUS database. We are looking forward to meeting you all in the industrial city of the Czech Republic - Ostrava!!!
