European Conference on Research in Chemical Education (ECRICE 2014)

ECRICE is the forum for researchers and teachers to exchange experiences on research in chemical education carried out at every education level - from primary school up to graduate studies, as well as to promote lifelong learning and enthusiasm in chemistry. The 12th ECRICE is hosted by the University of Jyvaskyla; in Central Finland 7. - 10. July, 2014. The conference takes place at the spectacular Jyvaskyla; University Mattilanniemi science campus spanning around and over the lake in the city center. The nightless nights in Finland provide plenty of interesting opportunities to discuss recent findings, new ideas, start or enhance collaboration, and meet old and new acquaintances. The preliminary suggested theme of the conference - “New trends in research-based chemistry education” – reflects the striving to an enhanced motivation and practice in learning and teaching within the wonderful world of chemistry. ECRICE (European Conference on Research in Chemistry Education) is organized under the auspices of the Division of Chemical Education of EuCheMS. We welcome all friends of chemistry education to Finland the upcoming summer for interesting and entertaining discussions and experiences.
