Introduction
International interaction among scientific disciplines is essential for better understanding of spoken language and voice signals processing and for the advancement of speech-voice technologies. In the tradition of PVSF, the XXII PVC emphasizes the interdisciplinary nature of voice and speech research, this time further broadening its scope to also include applications to bioengineering, biomedicine, health, machine communications and performing arts. In the global spirit of science, we move the XXII PVC to the AGH in Krakow, Poland, where it will be held on the 11-13 of April 2014.
