SPE Annual Caspian Technical Conference and Exhibition

On behalf of the Society of Petroleum Engineers, it gives us great pleasure to announce that the SPE Annual Caspian Technical Conference and Exhibition will take place in November 2014. This inaugural event will be held in Astana in 2014 and thereafter will rotate annually between Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. As SPE’s membership grows in the Caspian region and following two successful events in Kazakhstan in 2009, SPE plans to increase technical resources, programmes, and events in the region to support the Caspian’s oil and gas professionals. The conference programme will be a balance between topical panel sessions and formal technical meetings involving debate and research-based presentations with the intention of exchanging knowledge, best practices and experience. The event focus will be regional and we invite proposals from across the Caspian region.
