Introduction

International Society for Chinese Language Teaching in Asia Pacific (Asia-Pacific Consortium on Teaching Chinese as an International Language, hereinafter referred to as "Asia Society") is a non-profit academic organization in the field of language teaching in Asia Pacific to enhance the level of Chinese teaching in the region, promote communication and cooperation among its members for the purpose. Activities matter Pacific Institute include: First, Chinese Teaching non-Chinese environment commonness and individuality, promoting the development of Chinese language teaching in the Asia-Pacific region; Second, the Asia-Pacific region to promote academic research in the field of Chinese language teaching and promotion related research; (3) through periodicals, books or other means, promote Chinese latest research results in the field of teaching and research; Fourth, the establishment and development of cooperation and mutual assistance with the relevant Chinese teaching and research institutions; V. Other business consistent with the objects of the Institute, such as support for large-scale multinational research projects create a communication platform, to create a platform for young scholars and so on. Asia-Pacific Institute of researchers from Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Australia initiated the establishment of the five countries in 2009. The Executive Committee currently has six permanent members, they are (in order of surnames pronunciation of Chinese characters): Yu Furukawa (Japan), Hong Li Jian (Australia), Hu Shiyun (Japan), Meng column million (Korea), Ruanhuang Ying (Vietnam) , Wuying Cheng (Singapore), Wu Yingcheng is the current president. Asia Society held an annual meeting every year. Since 2009, so far we held a total of five annual meeting. First, in November 2009 held in Osaka, Japan, the Japanese Language Education Society of China, Japan and Chinese Teachers Association hosted the Kansai region, representatives from Japan and Asia-Pacific countries nearly 80 people attending. Conference to explore the common and non-Chinese character Chinese teaching environments from different perspectives, and to determine the future administration policy. The second time, in October 2010 in Seoul, Korea hosted by the Korean Institute of Chinese language, the Chinese Society of Korean language education contractors, representatives from the Republic of Korea and the Asia-Pacific countries nearly 120 people attended the meeting. The theme is "carried out with the Chinese cross-cultural communication," "Chinese as a tool to cross-cultural communication." Third, in June 2011 held in Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, Faculty of Asian language culture National Institute of Education, SEAMEO Regional Language Centre Singapore contractors. Representatives from Singapore and Asia-Pacific countries nearly 400 people attended the meeting. Conference on the theme "Teaching Chinese International Perspective and Chinese studies." Fourth, in October 2012 held in Hanoi, Vietnam, hosted by the Vietnam National University in Hanoi Foreign Language University belongs. Representatives from Vietnam and Asia-Pacific countries nearly 180 people attended the meeting. Conference on the theme "Comparative study of Chinese language and culture outside and Chinese Teaching." Fifth, in August 2013 held in Melbourne, Australia, hosted by the Asian Institute of Australia, University of Melbourne Chinese Society of Teachers of Colleges and Universities. Representatives from Australia and the Asia-Pacific countries nearly 160 people attended the meeting. Conference on the theme of "Chinese teaching of different languages, cultures and policy environment." Asia Society is open to all scholars of the region to participate in Chinese language teaching profession. Society membership procedure is simple, free withdrawal, no application fee and annual dues.
