2014 Seoul International Congress of Endocrinology and Metabolism

It gives us a great honor and privilege to invite you to attend the 2014 Seoul International Congress of Endocrinology and Metabolism (SICEM) in conjunction with the 33rd Annual Scientific Meeting of the Korean Endocrine Society, Asia-Pacific Diabetes and Obesity Study Group (APDO), and Highlights of ENDO by The Endocrine Society, from May 15 through 18, 2014, which will be held at the Grand Hilton Hotel, Seoul, Korea, situated in the near central of city. We would like you to take this opportunity to discuss various topics in endocrinology and metabolism, including diabetes, thyroid problems, osteoporosis, and neuroendocrinology and to exchange views on the field with leading and high-profile experts. The SICEM was organized as the international congress in 2013, aiming to turn and widen the Korean endocrinology towards the Asia and beyond, which saw 1,600 medical delegates attending over 4 days. And it is forecasted that the SICEM will be smoothly growing into the one-of-a-kind international gathering. As in 2012, the APDO will run parallel to the SICEM on May 16-17. We are also pleased to inform you that the committee hosts the Highlights of ENDO by The Endocrine Society. Seoul has been Korea's capital for over 600 years and is a city where past and present coexist side by side. As well as being home to several beautiful historic palaces, it is also the center of the so-called "Korean wave," which is sweeping over the world right now. The congress will be held in early May, when Korea experiences particularly nice weather. Most importantly, come to the Congress to meet colleagues across the world and make new contacts, all in the spirit of SICEM’s primary objective, which is to nurture friendship between Endocrinologists.
