This meeting captures leading edge theoretical development, experimental demonstration, and the latest applications involving signal recovery and synthesis. Signals and images are an essential tool and often the primary method of obtaining and conveying information for optical and other scientific research. Optical signals and images play a rich role in scientific disciplines including physics, astronomy, remote sensing, biology, and health sciences and are involved in our daily lives through communication, medicine, and entertainment technologies. Because of the breadth involved, interdisciplinary papers are encouraged for this session. A list of topics of interest follows, but papers on other topics related to signal and image recovery and analysis are also welcome.
