Welcome to ICED 2014
School of Computer and Communication Engineering in collaboration with School of Microelectronics Engineering, UNIMAP is pleased to announce that we will be hosting the 2nd International Conference on Electronic Design (ICED 2014) on 19 to 21st August 2014 in the beautiful city of Penang, Malaysia.
The 2nd International Conference on Electronic Design (ICED 2014) is a sequel to the previous conference (ICED 2008) successfully held in 2008. ICED 2014 aims to provide a platform to professionals, researchers, academicians and industries to share and generate interest in cutting-edge applications, challenges and issues in the area of Electronics System Design for Next Generation Technologies. The themes of ICED 2014 conference have been chosen in view of the revolution and rapid developments in the field of electronics and communication design. This conference will focus on future technologies, including Information and communication technology (ICT), green computing/communication technology, nanotechnology, biomedical/e-health technology, multimedia technology, mobile and wireless communication technologies, wireless sensor networks, system-on-chip (SOC) technology and embedded computing technology. There will be special technical sessions devoted exclusively to Green Technology. - A new era for electronics that explores the ability of embedded circuits and systems to positively impact the environment. Examples areas include designing energy efficient VLSI circuits, improving the efficiency of energy hungry applications such as data centers, green communications including energy efficiency of communications as well as communications technologies for other green solutions such as smart grids, green buildings, green logistics and using integrated circuits or embedded systems to leverage novel green technologies.
