International Workshop on Catalytic Olefin Polymerization and High Performance Polyolefins

It is our great pleasure to invite you to join the forthcoming conference: International Workshop on Catalytic Olefin Polymerization and High Performance Polyolefins, which will be held on October 22-25, 2014 at ECUST, Shanghai, China. This workshop is aimed to create an extra chance for us to meet and communicate in Shanghai (China) between the 8th International Colloquium on Heterogeneous Ziegler-Natta Catalysts (2012 in Japan) and the next 4th Blue Sky International Conference on Catalytic Olefin Polymerization (2015 in Italy). We sincerely hope to meet you in the beautiful city of Shanghai, and also the biggest and most developed city of China in 2014. This workshop is organized with a focus on the latest developments and trends, as well as future outlook of the catalytic olefin polymerization by Ziegler-Natta catalysts, Phillips type chromium-based catalysts, Metallocene catalysts, late-transition-metal catalysts and other catalyst systems for the synthesis of high performance polyolefins and their structure-property relationship, molecular modelling of catalysts and polyolefins, etc.. The workshop program with presentations (typically 25 min presentation plus 5 min discussion for invited speakers and 15 min presentation plus 5 min discussion for oral speakers) together with poster sessions is aiming to promote more profound understanding on many unsolved aspects as well as innovations in the development of novel catalysts and polyolefins with high performance. The face-to-face discussion between scientists from both academia and industrial field will provide a good opportunity for the exchange of latest research results and set up a close collaboration throughout the world.
