Introduction

We cordially invite you to attend the Workshop on “Computation for the Smart Electric Grid: Past, Present and Future (SGComp)” in conjunction with the International Green Computing Conference, which will be held in Dallas, TX, on November 3, 2014. SGComp 2014 welcomes papers on computational requirements and emerging solutions for evolving smart electric grid. This workshop aims to provide a venue for discussion of a broader spectrum of approaches to solve problems related to efficient, robust and sustainable computing for electric power grid and associated components.
