Introduction

The explosive development of mobile Internet and the generated Bigdata brings not only opportunities but also challenges to service oriented computing. Specifically, traditional service discovery technologies meet a lot of challenges brought by the novel environment, e.g., large scale services, uncertain network environment, location-based requirements, etc. How to utilize the generated Bigdata to handle these challenges is becoming the hottest point in service oriented computing. As for the service discovery in mobile Internet, more challenges and interesting problems are taken. Different from the small-scale service set employed in traditional service discovery research, the scale of services in mobile Internet is millions, especially the growth of the social services/applications (eg. Twitter, facebook, flickr, etc.), which poses a big challenge to the efficiency of the service discovery algorithm. Another important problem to service discovery in mobile Internet is the uncertain network quality, which is different from the discovery in Web. Further, location and user information brings many interesting research topics to service discovery in mobile Internet. This workshop focuses on the challenges imposed by effective, efficiency, and personalized service discovery on Web/clouds/mobile Internet, and on the different state-of-the-art technologies proposed to overcome these challenges. Papers of applied research, industrial experience reports, work-in-progress and vision papers with different criteria for each category that describe recent advances and efforts in the discovery and composition of Web/cloud/mobile services that will benefit many applications are also solicited.
