Introduction

On behalf of the organizing committee, it is my great pleasure to welcome all the participants around the world to attend the International Symposium on Antennas and Propagation (ISAP 2014) to be held from December 2 to 5, 2014 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. This year ISAP 2014 is the 19th ISAP, which started in 1971. The main objective of this symposium aims to provide an international platform for researchers, engineers, academicians as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to present their research results and developments in Antennas, Propagation, EM Wave Theory, and AP-related fields. This symposium also provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences face to face, to establish business or research relations and to find global partners for future collaboration. Kaohsiung suffices with fashion and tradition, modern and classical, and manifests colorful cultural diversities. The city appeals to many tourists for her passionately and friendly people, various cuisines from far and near, and favorable mass transportation connecting major attractions.
