Introduction
Twenty fourth of International Mining Congress and Exhibition of Turkey, that has been biannually organized, successfully sustained for almost half a century and therefore, earned a well-deserved reputation in the eyes of the mining world, will be held between 14 and 17 April 2015 in Antalya which is one of the well-known touristic cities of Turkey. The main objective of the International Mining Congress and Exhibition is to provide an opportunity for exchanging knowledge recently produced, to introduce technologies developed and to build a collaboration atmosphere by bringing together scientists, academicians, consultants, and sector representatives from different areas and thus to make a contribution for improving mining sector. We look forward to welcoming sector representatives to this great meeting of mining to be held in Antalya due to this Time-honored Congress in which some special sessions will be given place and presented by consultants accepted as authorities in terms of world and Turkish mining.
