Introduction

The 15th international conference on Sciences and Techniques of Automatic control and computer engineering (STA′2014) will be held on December 21-23, 2014, in Hammamet, Tunisia. Located at the vital north of Tunisia, Hammamet is the main destination for tourists from around the world. Hammamet is particularly known for jasmine. The medina dates back to around 1500, when the Hafsids erected the present walls. The site had earlier been an Aghlabid stronghold. The conference STA′2014 is organized by the Laboratory Lab-STA (Sfax, Tunisia) with the participation of several Laboratories such as, LIAS (Poitiers, France), CREsTIC (Reims, France), MIS (Amiens, France), LSIS (Marseille, France), LAAS (Toulouse, France) and the University of Valladolid (Spain). The conference is financially supported by the ATTNA association (Tunisia) and technical Co-sponsorship IEEE Tunisia Section. STA′2014 is intended as an international forum where an effective exchange of knowledge and experience amongst active researchers in various theoretical and applied areas of automatic control and computer engineering can take place. Participation of engineers and other scientists from industry is particularly welcome. This event will provide the opportunity, for worldwide researchers and practitioners, to share together the latest developments and trends in systems and control. Both theoretical and applied papers are welcome for submission to this event. Keynote speeches are to be conducted by experts.
