Introduction

The SANER 2015 technical track invites original papers that describe significant advances to the state of the art in all areas of software analysis, evolution, reverse-engineering, and reengineering. Theoretical results, case studies, empirical research, user studies, and experiments are particularly encouraged. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to: * Empirical studies in reverse engineering * Binary reverse engineering * Program analysis and slicing * Re-documenting legacy systems * Reengineering patterns * Model-driven reengineering * Program transformation and refactoring * Reverse engineering of service-oriented and legacy systems * User interface reengineering * Reengineering to distributed and cloud systems * Mining software repositories for software analysis * Software architecture recovery * Visualization techniques and tools * Program Comprehension * Concept, feature and service location * Object and aspect identification * Dynamic analysis * Wrapping techniques * Data reverse engineering * Preprocessing, parsing and fact extraction * Reverse engineering for security assessment * Reverse engineering tool support * Education in reverse engineering * Performance re-engineering * Software quality * Search-based software engineering * Evolution in/of the cloud
