IMS East Asia 2015 sets out to examine current trends of musicological thoughts, and in particular, 'Asian trends' - if such a phenomenon could be discerned. Asian countries are some of the fastest growing in the world: in technology, in science, in cultural development, and in educational innovation. Are such elements influential factors in musicological trends in Asia and world-wide?
