The 6th International Conference on Han Characters Education and Research

The sharing and variations of Han Characteris a unique feature among a number of Asian languages: Korean learns Hanja; Japanese learns Kanji; Chinese in Mainland China and Singapore learns simplified Hanzi while Chinese in Taiwan and Hong Kong learns traditional Hanzi. This Conference aims to bring together scholars, researchers and practitioners from different Asian countries to foster international knowledge exchanges and research collaborationson Han characters education and research. Building upon accomplishments and successes in the first five conferences, the sixth one will be held at Hangzhou,People’s Republic of China,in July 2015.
