Introduction

On behalf of MRS-Korea, it is a great privilege for me to invite you to the 14th International Union of Materials Research Societies-International Conference on Advanced Materials (IUMRS-ICAM 2015) held on October 25(Sunday)~29(Thursday), 2015 at the Jeju International Convention Center in Jeju, Korea. As you might know, IUMRS-ICAM, the bi-annual conference, is one of the most important conferences of IUMRS. This conference will provide great opportunities for scientists, researchers, engineers and business executives from all parts of the world not only to exchange the latest knowledge but to share the state-of-art techniques in the field of material sciences. Not to mention scientific sessions, the organizing committee plans for unique and colorful social programs through which all participants may experience fascinating Korean culture and traditions during the most pleasant autumn season in Korea. Once again, on behalf of the MRS-Korea, I welcome all of you to IUMRS-ICAM 2015 in Jeju(Island), called “Hawaii in Korea”, which no doubt will be a memorable event for fruitful outcome and the development of long-lasting personal relationships.
