The international conference aims to provide a forum and interactive platform for the academicians / industrial personnel in gaining knowledge on recent advancements on soft computing methodologies to deal with control and modeling of complex systems. Conference Theme Traditional hard computing methods are often cumbersome, time consuming, costly and offer un-tractable solution to many a complex problems arising in the field of Biology, Medicine, Management and Engineering as these methods require precisely stated analytical model. On the other hand soft computing techniques are tolerant for imprecision, approximation, uncertainty and offer tractable, robust and low cost solution and so are preferable for tackling complex problems. Soft computing is the collection of various techniques namely Artificial Intelligence models, probabilistic computing, Immunological computing, Evolutionary Computing etc that offer better solutions to problems in image processing, process & system control ,Decision support system etc. It is therefore considered very important to choose this important area of soft computing for the conference.
