The Sixth Xiamen Winter Symposium

Immunology experienced an unprecedented boom in the past few decades and is playing a leading role in the advancement of biomedical research. New discoveries and emerging paradigms have fundamentally changed the landscape of immunology. The award of the 2011 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine to three prominent immunologists highlights these achievements. This timely Symposium will focus on the la test developments in immunology and their potential applications in curing human diseases. We will cover the topics of Innate Immunity, T and B cell biology, and host defence mechanisms in model organisms.
