The 2015 Symposium on Modern Statistics at Xiamen University

We are happy to announce that the 2015 Symposium on Modern Statistics at Xiamen University, co-organized by Department of Statistics, School of Economicsand the Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics (WISE), Xiamen University, China, will be held on December 25-27, 2015 at Xiamen University. Xiamen University is located in the beautiful island of Xiamen in Southeast China, also known as “Garden over the Sea.” The main purpose of this symposium is to provide a platform for active statisticians from China and overseas to exchange the ideas with each other and present their latest results in the modern statistics frontiers. The program committee invites high quality papers on the related fields in modern statistics as well as their applications. To be considered for a presentation, please register the conference via http://wise.xmu.edu.cn/Meetings/STAT2015/submission or a PDF or a Word file of the full paper should be submitted to Wei Zhong (wzhong@xmu.edu.cn) before November 1, 2015. The title page of paper should include the information of the presenter (full name, affiliation, email address), and up to six keywords. The decision of acceptance will be made no later than November 15, 2015.
