5th International Conference on Nuclear and Renewable Energy Resources (NURER2016)

On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, it is our pleasure to welcome you to the 5th International Conference on Nuclear and Renewable Energy Resources (NURER2016) hosted by Institute of Nuclear Energy Safety Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in Hefei, Anhui, China, from September 18 to 21, 2016.

The International Conference on Nuclear and Renewable Energy Resources (NURER) is recognized as one of the major international conference for the exchange of information on scientific, engineering, and other technical aspects of innovative nuclear and renewable energy science and technology. The conference is intended to provide an excellent opportunity to report on recent technical progress, discuss key issues and fostering international collaboration for the promotion of innovative nuclear and renewable energy system development. Papers related to science, engineering, facilities, experiments, modeling, analysis, design and safety are welcome. 

The Committee is especially pleased that the NURER2016 will be hosted in Hefei, which is very beautiful and famous for its scientific and technical researches in China. It is also a charming city with Chinese traditional culture and many historic sites.

It is our sincere hope that the NURER2016 will provide an opportunity for participants to communicate and devise relevant solutions to pending issues in the field of nuclear and renewable energy science and technology.
