SPE Sour Oil and Gas Fields Workshop: The Challenging Transition from Appraisal through Development to Operations

The past editions of the SPE Sour Gas workshops in 2012, 2013, and 2014 provided a unique opportunity to meet with industry experts and discuss topics related to the broad range of sour oil and gas field projects. This included examples and experiences shared across the full range of sour fields - from minor souring of oil fields in later field life in Asia to giant sour oil fields of the greater Caspian region and also the early appraisal/development learnings of the major highly sour fields of the GCC region and China.
