2016 Polymer Processing Society Asia/Australia Conference (PPS-2016)

We are delighted to invite you to the 2016 POLYMER PROCESSING SOCIETY Asia/Australia Conference (PPS-2016), which will be held at the International Convention Center in Chengdu, Sichuan, China, on the 11th-14th October 2016. PPS has successfully held 31 international conferences along with series of regional conferences all over the world since it was founded in 1985. PPS conferences have become one of the most acclaimed meetings in the field of polymer processing, aiming to bring together scientists and engineers from both academia and industry to present research progress, share latest innovations, discuss future developments, and discover networking opportunities. This event will cover the main aspects of polymer science and engineering and comprise plenary speeches, keynote and contributed talks as well as extensive poster sessions. 

It is a great honor for Chengdu to host the regional conference of PPS for the first time. As one of the most important economic, transportation, and communication hubs in Western China, Chengdu is the provincial capital of Sichuan province and famous home of giant pandas. There are many beautiful sceneries and historical sites within or around Chengdu such as Wu Hou Shrine, the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, Jiuzhai Valley National Park, Emei Mountain, etc. 

The PPS Asia/Australia Conference (2016) is organized by the State Key Laboratory of Polymer Materials Engineering (Sichuan University), Polymer Research Institute of Sichuan University and College of Polymer Science and Engineering of Sichuan University.
