Who Should Attend

Those interested in the stratigraphy and conventional oil resources of the Famennian Wabamun Group and unconventional hydrocarbon resources in the Upper Devonian to earliest Mississippian Bakken Formation of the Williston Basin and its coeval correlatives the Exshaw and lower Banff formations of southern Alberta

Objectives

To examine coeval outcrop analogues in the upper Palliser Formation and overlying Exshaw and Banff formations of the Wabamun/Bakken petroleum system. We will also be looking at two well cores and outcrops of the Exshaw/Banff petroleum system.
