Purpose
This conference aims to promote the exchange of new ideas among the leading experts from industry, academia, and government on the controls and impacts of inorganic and organic diagenesis on mudstone hydrocarbon generation, reservoir properties and seal quality.
Goals
The desired goal is to identify potential new research and techniques that can be applied to improve unconventional shale reservoir exploration and development, and to ensure that learnings and best practices from other areas of shale science are utilized effectively.
