The 4th International Workshop on Frontiers in Quantum Optics and Quantum

It is a great pleasure for us to announce The 4th International Workshop on Frontiers in Quantum Optics and Quantum Information: Optomechanics meets circuit QED, which will be held in Beijing in Early June, 2016. The workshop is organized by Beijing Computational Science Research Center (CSRC), as a kickoff meeting for the Phonons, Photons and Qubits: Perspectives from Circuit QED and Optomechanics program at Kavli Institute of Theoretical Physics China (KITPC). The main objective of this workshop is to stimulate the interaction between the fields of Superconducting Circuits and Optomechanics, which share many conceptual goals and methodologies, as well as overlap significantly in their physical implementations. We expect the workshop will bring together the leading scientists in these two fields to further advance the understanding of various quantum phenomena and their applications in quantum state engineering. This workshop is open to experts in the fields related to quantum optics and quantum information, as well as scientists and graduate students who are interested in these general directions of research.
