Introduction

You are cordially invited by King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) to participate in KACSTIT 2016 conference in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The conference will be held on Sunday 6th to Wednesday 9th November 2016. The language for presentations and discussions is English. This four-day intensive event is an opportunity for big-data practitioners and academics to present the latest research and innovations in the compilation and use of big data sets. It provides an opportunity to gain an inter- and multi-disciplinary perspective on the research and development of big data.

The conference will be held in KACST headquarters, which is conveniently located to give easy access to sightseeing and recreational activities in Riyadh. We aim to create an excellent environment to share scientific discussions and to foster collaborations in the area of big data analytics that would not only benefit IT students, engineers and academics, but also attract potential investors and entrepreneurs to engage and invest into Big Data analytics and its related technologies. It is anticipated that both theoretical and practically oriented papers will be of a great interest to a wide audience. The conference submissions and talks will cover three main streams: 1) Big-data processing, 2) Big-data analytics, and 3) Big-data Applications.
