Introduction

We invite experiences, insight, techniques, and tools that bridge the gap between scientific data management, scientific computing and science infrastructure. We seek novel contributions in the line of this conference series.

The objective of the eScience Conference is to promote and encourage all aspects of eScience and its associated technologies, applications, and tools. In short, eScience promotes innovation in collaborative, computationally- or data-intensive research across all disciplines, throughout the research lifecycle.

The conference will be a platform to meet and greet peers from around the globe, making data-intensive research a reality for your particular science domain, e.g. astronomy, bioinformatics, genomics, climate, and more. We aim for a wide range of transdisciplinary collaboration and sharing of best practices between established researchers.

The conference will be held at the Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor at Camden Yards, 110 South Eutaw Street, Baltimore, Maryland, USA.
