Introduction

2016 IEEE Radar Methods and Systems Workshop (RMSW) is a successor of the Microwaves, Radar and Remote Sensing Symposium (MRRS) that was very successful in 2005, 2008, 2011 and 2014 and gathered together participants from many countries in Kiev. MRRS is planned to be conducted every third year (next MRRS will be in 2017).

In 2010 a smaller but also very interesting and successful event – the first RMSW started in the framework of the 4th World Congress "Aviation in the 21st Century". The participants from 10 countries presented their papers and discussed the latest results. Then the second RMSW-2012 has joined participants from 12 countries .

The third 2016 IEEE Radar Methods and Systems Workshop (RMSW-2016) will be held in the framework of the 7th World Congress "Aviation in the 21st Century" – “Safety in Aviation and Space Technologies”and is planned to be a forum of ideas exchange and results discussion in the field of electromagnetic theory and applications; radar technology and systems; signal processing, including acoustic signals; remote sensing methods and data processing. Both passive and active methods and systems of all frequency bands are welcome.

We invite all researchers, experts and students who work in our field, waiting for all our traditional participants as well as new colleagues and friends.

We look forward to seeing you in Kiev, Ukraine, September 27-28, 2016!
