Introduction

This event will be the 6th conference of the Sensor Signal Processing for Defence (SSPD) series and after the successful SSPD 2015 Edinburgh, I hope to see you all again and of course to welcome new colleagues. This conference is a fantastic opportunity to present and hear about the latest scientific findings in signal processing for defence.
It also gives a good reason to visit the capital of Scotland and meet colleagues and friends. I hope to meet many of you in Edinburgh in September 2016.
