2016 3rd IEEE/OES South American International Symposium on Oceanic Engineering (SAISOE)

The overall objective of this meeting is to bring together engineering professionals, technologists, students, entrepreneurs, researchers and academics linked to the creation, design, development, research, production and marketing of technology and ocean engineering. It is regional and international meeting forum, to be held as a second time in Argentina, and third time in South America, since it start up in 2008 in Viña de Mar, Chile. This symposium will be carried out in parallel with the third Biennial Congress of IEEE Argentina (ARGENCON 2016). The topics to be covered include: underwater acoustics, monitoring of climate change variables, ocean observing systems (underwater robotics, buoys, gliders, ...), coastal zone management, port security, renewable energy sources from the sea, fishing, among the most important, although not this is an exhaustive list.
