2016 IEEE School on Signal Processing for Next Generation Satellite Communications (SPNGS)

The School is related to the applications, methodological advances and basic theory of signal processing techniques in satellite communications. Next Generation Satcoms are targeting for high capacities and are an interference limited system and not a noise limited one, anymore. We plan to touch the current schemes that are implemented in today’s satellite equipment, as well as advanced techniques that will support Next generation satellite systems, with a main focus on High Throughput Satellites (HTS). This school schedules 6 short courses and 3 keynotes from renowned international professors and industry experts. Most courses will include close-to-real implementation results.
