Introduction

The 2016 IEEE Workshop on Statistical Signal Processing (SSP 16) will be held at Palma de Mallorca, the best place to live in the world according to the Times, from 26 June to 29 June 2016. SSP 2016 is the 19th of a series of unique meetings that bring members of the IEEE Signal Processing Society together with researchers from allied fields such as bioinformatics, communications, machine learning, and statistics. SSP 2016 is a single-track workshop that includes invited talks, demonstrations and oral and poster presentations of refereed papers.
