Introduction

It is our great honor and pleasure to announce that Chinese Conference on Computational Mechanics in conjunction with International Symposium on Computational Mechanics’ 2016 (CCCM-ISCM 2016) will be held in the First World Hotel, Hangzhou, China, in October 16-20, 2016.

The CCCM-ISCM 2016 is organized by Chinese Association of Computational Mechanics (CACM) and International Chinese Association for Computational Mechanics (ICACM). And it is locally organized by Zhejiang University.

Hangzhou has enjoyed a prosperous history of over 2,200 years. It is one of the most famous tourist cities in China, with its natural beauty and historical and cultural heritage. It is also famous for good-quality silk products and tasty Chinese food.

The G20 Summit 2016 will be held in Hangzhou in September 4-5, 2016. Hangzhou is ready to enchant world’s leaders with its idyllic beauty and rich cultural heritage.

We sincerely invite experts, colleagues and students, in the fields of computational mechanics research and development, to join us. In this event, recent achievements by Chinese scholars could be demonstrated and exhibited, in order to promote further the developments of computational mechanics and their engineering applications.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Hangzhou in October, 2016. We believe that you will enjoy the wide variety of activities of the CCCM-ISCM 2016, as well as your stay in this elegant city.
