VI International Chestnut Symposium

The meeting will begin on Monday morning, October 3 and finish on Friday, October 7 with a noon luncheon. Oral and poster presentations are planned as are field trips to chestnut forests and historical venues. Activities are planned for spouses including a day trip to Antalya.

The topics will focus on the fields of chestnut breeding, biotechnology and genetic resources; physiology and ecology; growing technologies; fruit quality, post-harvest and processing; pest and disease management; production economics and management.
