Introduction

The 27th European Colloquium on Heterocyclic Chemistry will take place in Amsterdam from July 3 to 6, 2016.

The ECHC is an open meeting dealing with all aspects of heterocyclic chemistry with mainly, but certainly not only, European speakers and participants from academia and industry. The aim of the meeting is to present new results, stimulate interactions between academia and industry and create an atmosphere for establishing networks, useful also for young chemists. The 3 following topics will be covered:

Chemical Biology & Medicinal Chemistry
Heterocyclic Synthetic Methodology
Enabling Technologies
Since the foundation in 1962, 25 ECHC have been organised all over Europe and the ECHC series have grown to be major events in the field with world class speakers.

The scientific programme will include 24 invited plenary lectures, 9 keynote lectures and many oral communications selected from submitted abstracts, as well as poster communications.
