9th Innovation Forum on Multiparametric Analytics

Precise diagnostics that take advantage of the growing pool of new biomarkers are essential to choosing the right medical treatment in an early phase of disease. A range of new Enabling Technologies allow the development of a new generation of molecular diagnostics which are making healthcare faster and more cost-efficient. These include:

• Cost-efficient multiparameter diagnostics platforms that reduce the anamnesis time

• New software solutions and data management tools to help interpret the rapidly growing wealth of diagnostic data more quickly

• New materials, e. g. made by surface treatment technologies for better signal-to-noise ratios

• Calibration technologies and tools for more precise and reproducible analytics

Enabling Technologies enormously contribute to the discovery and use of biomarkers and help to translate concepts into applications for clinical practice. The combination of these Enabling Technologies allow the simultaneous and parallel determination of analytical parameters in a sample. They promise to accelerate the analysis process and help save consumables and sample material.

The 9th Senftenberg Innovation Forum "Enabling Technologies für Multiparameter Diagnostics" covers recent advances in this field. During the past years the Innovation Forum has been established as an excellent forum to foster the advances in multiparametric analytics in research and the healthcare market.

The international open access conference is organized by the Brandenburg University of Technolgy Cottbus-Senftenberg, the BioResponse e. V. together with the Center for Molecular Diagnostics and Bioanalysis (ZMDB). Analytical platforms, imaging methods, big data management, novel biomarkers as well as new systems that combine cell-based tests with further technologies will be presented. The format of the conference encourages active participation and interaction of clinicans, healthcare providers, research institutions, industry experts, innovators and students.
