Introduction
Researchers and practitioners are invited to join us in Charlotte, NC, August 21-24, 2016 for the 42nd Design Automation Conference (DAC). The event will expand international cooperation, understanding, and promotion of all areas of design automation related to mechanical and engineered systems. Themes include design representation, design optimization, design evaluation, and design integration. Papers in other areas of design automation are also welcome, and papers with examples from industrial practice are strongly encouraged.
