Summer meeting on bio-electrochemistry 2016

On behalf of the organizing committee, we welcome you to our second summer meeting on bio-electrochemistry (SMOBE-2016), which is held from 17 to 19 August 2016 in Antwerp, Belgium. Our event is organized as a satellite meeting and preceeding the annual ISE meeting in The Hague from 21 to 26 August.

Modern electrochemistry is a discipline at the interface between chemistry, physics and biology. The summer meeting covers the breadth and depth of modern interdisciplinary bio-electrochemistry. The tutorial/keynote lecturers focus on the basics of bio-electrochemistry, protein and DNA electrochemistry,  (bio)fuel cells and on micro and nanoscale bio-electrochemical applications. Additionally, PhD students and postdocs are invited to contribute by a poster or oral presentation in one of the above topics.
