Introduction

Digital media studies cover all aspects of media/ mediatedproduction, distribution and consumption on/via a wide range of digital media on the Internet. The digital media can exist in the form of platform, device, software and application that cover games, online literature, music, video, social media, design and various practical applications. This conference takes in submission from various disciplines--from communication, humanities, sociology, and anthropology to computer science—and in particular, we would like to accept paper that take on interdisciplinary approaches and perspectives to solve related problems and issues. In this 2016 conference, the focus will be on problems and issues specific to creative/culture industries. Some possible panels and topics of DMS’16 are: Approaches and perspectives or/and models of Creative/Culture Industries Digital content and cultural representation New methodology fordigital mediaanalysis Interactivity in games, social media and platforms Online literature and cultural distribution Digital music, identityand youth culture Globalization of digital platforms and applications Patterns of creative labor Cultural policy and political economy of creative industries Conference Venue Lecture Hall of Beijing Normal University Important Conference Dates: Paper submission deadline: May 1st, 2016 Notification of acceptance/rejection: June 25, 2016 Conference Date: August 25-26, 2016 Registration Fee: Free Submission: All submissions will be subject to peer review by the organizing committee of DMS’16 and the papers will be evaluated on the basis of relevance, significance of contribution, and quality of presentation.Submissionshould follow the APA 6th Style.
