Since its first edition in 2008, WoSAR has been the international event bringing together researchers and practitioners involved with the theoretical and experimental aspects of software aging and of software rejuvenation solutions. As a satellite event of the premier symposium, ISSRE 2016, WoSAR 2016 aims to provide a forum for researchers and practitioners to present and discuss the state of the art and the new challenges in software aging and rejuvenation research, as well as a unique opportunity for establishing collaborations among several research groups interested in this research field.

Authors are invited to submit high-quality unpublished research work describing the results of theoretical and experimental SAR research. After rigorous review, all the accepted papers will be included in the supplemental proceedings and will appear in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library. Papers must be written in English, and be formatted according to the IEEE manuscript templates for conference proceedings. Papers must not exceed the page limit (in double-column, IEEE conference style format) of six pages plus one page for references and appendices. Paper submission will be done electronically through EasyChair. Submission implies the willingness of at least one of the authors to register and present the paper, if accepted.
