The 14th International Symposium on Geo-disaster Reduction

The International Consortium on Geo-disasters Reduction (ICGdR) will hold the 14th International Symposium on Geo-disaster Reduction (ISGdR) in Chengdu, from the 10th to 13th of October, 2016. The forthcoming event is an opportunity to bring geoscientists, engineers and social scientists together, so as to collaborate on worldwide reduction of geo-disasters.
The platform of ISGdR offers challenging topics for researchers working on different themes related to geo-disasters, such as landslides, earthquakes, volcanism, tsunamis, climate change, social resilience to disasters, and new technologies for geo-disaster reduction. Researchers from geoenvironmental disaster reduction or management communities are also encouraged to participate in the symposium.
Social events will be prepared for those who would like to enjoy the charming atmosphere of the historic city of Chengdu.
