Introduction

The goal of the 2nd GSBC is to bring distinguished experts from each of these research fields together to enhance our understandings of the important role of soil biodiversity on global sustainability, and to promote international collaborations on soil sustainability across hierarchical scales. We are striving to make this conference the best known platform for high-profile interdisciplinary meetings in the fields of soil biology and relevant disciplines.
GSBC2 is being hosted by the Soil Science Society of China (SSSC) and supported by the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS). The conference is the central congress for soil biome researchers across the world at all stages of their career to discuss the latest development in Soil Biodiversity and Global Sustainability. We look forward hosting you to continue the success of GSBC.
Attendance will be open to all and will be on a first come, first serve basis. Presentations will also be open to the public in the form of oral and poster presentations. The conference is co-chaired by Profs. Renfang Shen and Yongguan Zhu of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the leading principal investigators of China Soil Microbiome Initiative (CSMI).
