Sixth Asia-Pacific Conference on FRP in Structures

t’s with great joy that we invite you to take part in the 6^th Asia-Pacific Conference on FRP in Structures (APFIS2017), which will be held in Singapore from 19 to 21 July 2017.

The conference is jointly organized by MCC Singapore and FRP application committee of CCES (Chinese Civil Engineering Society) under the patronage of International Institute for FRP in Construction (IIFC). 

MCC Singapore, a well-known Corporation in Singapore, is widely acknowledged for its outstanding contribution to the Country’s construction and property development markets. FRP application committee of CCES is a Chinese academic organization with the objective to prompt the application and development of FRPs in construction by advancing the research and application techniques, providing technical consultation and organizing academic conferences. 

APFIS will try to address wide range of research topics related to FRPs which might add its existing knowledge and use in all fields of construction. The occasion has its added significance as it is arranged in Singapore famed for trade, International meetings, and technology – readiness which will indeed attract the global attention of scientific community as well as technocrats.  

The forum can essentially provide a platform for academicians, practitioners and budding young researchers to present, share, and learn more about the latest developments in the field of structural FRP. Moreover, it would be a unique opportunity to explore shopping, dining and beauty of this island country of Southeast Asia and to understand its multiculturalism closely.
