Introduction

The 22nd Asia‐Pacific Conference on Communications (APCC2016) will be held in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, the centre of javanese arts and culture. Since 1993, APCC has been the forum for researchers and engineers in the Asia‐Pacific region to present and discuss about advanced information and communication technologies and services, while opening the door to the world at the same time. Communications networks are now indispensable for our daily life and being used in various ways everywhere to make our life smart and comfortable and communication traffic is increasing in a very high pace. In addition, we need to pay attentions to sustainability of our society and communications networks. Thus, continuing innovation of communications networks with advanced technologies is strongly required. Prospective authors are invited to submit original technical papers for presentation at the conference and publication in the conference proceedings. Papers must be written using the IEEE conference proceedings style format (A4, two‐column and 10‐point font), 4 to 6 pages in length with maximum paper length not exceeding 8 pages. All papers of APCC2016 will be submitted to IEEE Xplore.
