International Conference of the 50th Anniversary of Ulu Gombak Field Study Centre

ICFSC 2016 is to be held in conjunction with the 111th year of the University of Malaya and to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the Ulu Gombak Field Studies Center, which is the first field study center to in the Southeast Asian region. This first conference organized involving local and international researchers had carried out research in Gombak Forest and Malaysia since 1965. Well-known scientists from different continents will be giving their keynote address.

Objectives of the conference:-

• A platform for researchers from local universities and international researchers to interact and exchange knowledge and ideas in the field of biological sciences.

• To promote and encourage co-operation and inter-disciplinary researches among the participants within and outside the country who have been conducting research in Malaysia especially in UGFSC.
