Digital predistortion (DPD) is one of the most frequently using linearization techniques that could lead to more efficient and cost effective power amplifiers (PAs). A beamforming system, which is known as utilizing in multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) systems, could be used for a signal processing which in sensor arrays for directional signal transmission or reception. In this architecture, a single digital predistortion should utilize hybrid analog and digital beamforming to linearize multiple PAs, and the beamforming system considered has one chain and multiple PAs controlled by phase shifters. Subsequently in this architecture, the DPD coefficients are estimated from post-distorter by a recursive least squares (RLS) algorithm. Simulation results validate the effectiveness and superior performances of the proposed architecture, particularly linearizing multiple PAs.
