SPE Canada Heavy Oil Technical Conference

The 2017 SPE Canada Heavy Oil Technical Conference provides oil sands engineering insights in the 45+ presentations that are primarily sub-surface focused. Held in parallel with the 2017 SPE Canada Unconventional Resources Conference, it is attended by approximately 500 engineers, geologists and professionals involved in the heavy oil industry.

A rigorous screening of all abstracts will ensure the technical quality of the program. The focus of the conference will be on thermal, hybrid, and non-thermal recovery processes for oil sands and heavy oil reservoirs.
