Introduction

The sixth Asia-Oceania Conference on Sustainable and Green Chemistry (AOC-SGC6) will be held at the City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, from 27 to 30 November 2016.
The major challenges for sustainable and green chemistry include the sustainable management of global resources, replacement of fossil resources for the production of energy and carbon-based consumer products, and better understanding of environmental issues caused by natural and synthetic chemicals to design and develop preventive measures and alternative technologies.
